Bake the world a better place

Time to Talk Day 2023

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

On Thursday the 2nd of February Carlisle Eden Mind will be having a bake sale fundraiser event across Carlisle and Eden and you can get involved!

What is Time to Talk Day?

Time to Talk Day is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health. We all have mental health, by talking about it we can support ourselves and others.

This time to talk day we aim to support communities across Carlisle and Eden to come together and have more conversations about mental health, wellbeing and just catching up to see how each other is feeling.

How can I get involved?

If you work for a company or organisation that would like to get involved and have a bake sale at your workplace, staffroom or canteen then please email Kelsey at kelsey.a@cemind.org. We can provide you with posters, donation tins and bunting for your event, we can also provide you with digital files to share with your network and on your social channels to really get word out about your fundraiser.

Talking about mental health reduces stigma and helps to create supportive communities where we can talk openly and feel empowered to seek help and support when we need it.

However you do it, have a conversation about mental health!
