What is Breathing Space?

Breathing Space is not just a place; it’s a community. We understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and mental health deserves the same care as physical health. That’s why we’ve created this safe and welcoming space for individuals in Carlisle to come together, share experiences, and find solace in each other’s company.

Why Join Us?

Peer Support: You’ll find understanding, empathy, and encouragement from people who have walked similar paths.

Sharing and Healing: We believe that talking about your mental health is an essential step in the healing process. In our group, you’ll find open conversations and a non-judgmental atmosphere.

Learning and Growth: Breathing Space offers various activities and resources to help you enhance your mental health toolkit.

Community and Connection: Loneliness and isolation can exacerbate mental health issues. We aim to create a tight-knit community where you can form meaningful connections and friendships.

Our Next Meeting is:

We will then take a short and break and the group will resume on Friday 12th January 2023.
