Carlisle Eden Mind is proud to be part of the Mind Network. Mind have over 100 Local Mind Federation members across England and Wales. Each local Mind is ran as an independent charity working within the Mind Quality Standards. Each local Mind has their own website with information on what they offer in your area. Our Vision for the Future
We’re excited to share our ambitious strategy for 2024-2027. Together, we’re working towards a future where mental health is prioritised, and everyone in Cumbria has access to the support they need. With this in mind, through our dedication and by working closely in partnership and collaboration with other organisations, we’re committed to changing, connecting, and supporting minds across Cumbria. In order to ensure everyone facing a mental health struggle gets the support when they need it most, we will work together with our community to strengthen mental health support for everyone.
Mental Health Support in Cumbria
At Carlisle Eden Mind, we provide a range of mental health services that aim to meet the needs of our local community.
The Lighthouse is an evening in person, one to one support service. In order to assist with ease of access to support, Mindline Cumbria provides guidance and support to those who may be struggling with their own mental health or supporting others via text, telephone, web chat or email.
You in Mind offers in person support beyond immediate crisis, in order to support people from returning to crisis. We support people with lasting change and personal development.
At Carlisle Eden Mind we offer a wide range of support for Children and Young people. Our children and young peoples team offer advocacy, training and coaching to young people across Cumbria.
Above all we want to create support services that reflect the needs and wants of our community. We want to make sure everyone facing a mental health struggle has access to support that works for them when they need it most. We offer a range of Community Groups for wellbeing – explore them more

Donating to Carlisle Eden Mind
We believe that everyone in Cumbria deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and that we have a part to play in that. As an independent charity we work hard to raise all our own funds to try to keep mental health services free, accessible and available. Donations make a real difference, enabling us to provide services to people across our community here in Cumbria. Your donations help to run Mindline Cumbria (our county wide listening ear service), The Lighthouse (our evening crisis support service), You In Mind (our daytime crisis support service), Our children and young peoples services which include advocacy and training. Donations made to us help to raise vital awareness in the community through engagement, education and free to access mental health resources.
