How Our Service Works
There are times when we may feel overwhelmed, unsafe, stressed, or lonely and need to talk to someone outside of our family or friends. Our support line is a safe and confidential service, delivered by trained support staff who are here to listen with empathy, respect, and acceptance.
When you call, we will provide you with a safe space to talk and offer support tailored to your needs. There is no time limit on calls, so you will never feel rushed. While we are a confidential service, there may be times when we need to share information to ensure your safety. If this happens, we will always discuss it with you first and explain any concerns or actions we may need to take.
We Can Help With:
- Emotional Support – Listening and offering reassurance when you need it.
- Mental Health Information – Helping you understand your options.
- Signposting – Connecting you to the right support services.
- Exploring Your Options – Helping you make informed choices.
- Coping strategies – looking at ways you can help yourself feel better
We Also Offer Support With:
- Domestic abuse issues
- Self-harm
- Suicidal thoughts
- General mental health concerns
- LGBTQ+ specific concerns
- Trauma
