- Advocate for policy change: Push for policies that prioritise mental health and address systemic inequalities.
- Raise awareness: Educate the public about mental health issues and challenge stigma.
- Mobilise communities: Build a strong network of supporters and advocates.
Together, we can create a society where everyone has access to the mental health support they deserve.
Get involved in National CampaigningShare your story
Sharing stories about mental health challenges can be incredibly powerful. It helps break the stigma, showing others they’re not alone in their struggles. These stories inspire hope, demonstrating that recovery and healing are possible. By supporting mental health charities in this way, we can create a world where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported on their journey to wellness.

Fundraise for Carlisle Eden MindLived Experience
Many of our volunteers have a personal interest in mental health, whether due to their own mental health experiences or from supporting others. Volunteers with lived experience bring with them their knowledge and experiences. We know without them we wouldn’t have these insights. Those who have lived experience of using mental health services and choose to volunteer with us, help to enrich the services that we offer. This is because they have a unique view of how services are delivered. Carlisle Eden Mind welcomes volunteers from all areas of the community. If you have lived experience and want to start volunteering but are not sure how or where you may fit, please reach out – we want to make sure anyone who volunteers with us feels supported, respected and encouraged to make positive changes in their own and others lives.
